BEE Education’s original icon was a hand-drawn sketch of a bee with the word “BEE” inside the bee’s body. This updated version gives it a sleeker look while staying true to the spirit of the original. The geometric type matches the rounded lines used in the icon.

Since the team wanted its branding to reflect its inclusive and open-minded values, I chose a warm colour palette and easily legible typography. I also created additional elements that they could use in their materials, including the four-pointed star, which can be found within the icon. I also created a fuzzy version of the icon, which could be used in larger format items.

For the website, I chose a clean look that would be clean and professional but still friendly and inviting. This was achieved through the use of a limited colour palette and rounded corners in the photos and buttons.
